Thanet Coast Path
The Thanet Coast Path follows the coast of the Isle of Thanet for 32 kilometres from Reculver to Pegwell Bay, taking in the resort towns of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate along the way. The Isle of Thanet was originally separated from the rest of Kent by the Wantsum Channel and became part of the mainland when the channel silted up.
This path isn't waymarked, but generally sticks as close as possible to the coast. The entire path is shown on the Ordnance Survey OS Explorer Map 150.
